First Week of March

Making homemade hamburger buns!

Finnigan checking out little guy!

Jason playing with little guy in our friend's front yard.

Eating some organic matter.
Little guy is now an Irish Twin- his baby sister was born this week.
They are 9 1/2 months apart!

Sushi stuffings for dinner with Jef & Laurie

Lu making smoothies! They were SO yummy!

Jason & his brother, Kevin, making homemade ice cream:

Beat together:
4 eggs
2 T. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1 lg. can evaporated milk
fill milk can with water, and add that too
1 lg. pkg. instant vanilla pudding

pour into ice cream canister
pour WHOLE milk into canister to "fill line"
layer rock salt and ice
have the guys get to work!

Jason teaching his brother Kevin how to use the drill.
(They are working on a that stand holds cow feed at Jason's parent's farm.)

Jason playing tag with the kids in our sophomore
d-group on Sunday night. We were waiting for another group to bring the church van back so we could take hamburgers to the homeless downtown.

One of the guys we gave a couple burgers to. The kids wanted to go feed some homeless people since our group is reading Under the Overpass by Mike Yankoski.

I was remembering today how we used to talk about our dreams for the future when we were roommates freshman year. Your blog always makes me smile because it is a visual reminder of promises kept. I love that you are married and living such a beautiful life. I also love that you made homemade hamburger buns :)

I can't believe Jason has shorts on. It is so cold here...this morning it is 15 with a ZERO wind chill (very windy)
Little guy is adorable! Finnegan seems to like him! Great buns!...have you heard that before??
