Delicious Dinner!

We ate dinner with all of Jason's family last night out at his grandparents house. His Grandma, Yvonne, made a very tasty Italian dish!

Stuffed Shells
1 box of Jumbo Pasta Shells
2 lbs. Ground Beef
1/2 c. Minced Onion
Italian Seasoning
2 eggs
2 c. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 c. Shredded Parmesan Cheese
2 (24oz) jars Bertolli Spaghetti Sauce (olive oil, basil & garlic flavored)
2 (8oz) Cream Cheese (plain or chives & onion)
  • In large skillet cook beef until no longer pink. Add the onions and cook till onions are done. Season meat with Italian seasoning (to taste). Drain meat when done.
  • Meanwhile, cook jumbo shells according to directions. (add olive oil to water so they don't stick)
  • In a bowl mix: cream cheese with egg and 1-12 c. mozzarella cheese, 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, and ground beef. (mixes best with hands)
  • Stuff shells with the cheese and beef mixture. Pour a little sauce in bottom of dish. Arrange stuffed shells in a shallow baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over shells.
  • Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 min.
  • Uncover, sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake 3-5 min. longer or until cheese is melted.
